Description: Will Dormann has reported some vulnerabilities in the Macrovision FLEXnet Connect Software Manager DWUpdateService ActiveX control, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to the insecure methods "Execute()" and "GetExitCode()" within the DWUpdateService ActiveX control (agent.exe). These can be exploited to execute and check the return code of arbitrary commands with arbitrary parameters when a user e.g. visits a malicious website.
