Description

Johnny Storm has discovered some vulnerabilities in Basic Analysis and Security Engine (BASE), which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

Various scripts including base_main.php and base_qry_alert.php do not properly restrict access to logged in users and can be exploited with an HTTP client that does not follow redirects.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.3.6. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution
Update to version 1.3.8.
