A vulnerability has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error when GNOME Assistive Technology support has been enabled and the terminal has been locked using xscreensaver. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary commands on the system with the privileges of the user running xscreensaver.
Successful exploitation requires physical access to the affected system and that the Assistive Technologies feature is enabled.
The vulnerability is reported in Solaris 10 for both the SPARC and the x86 platform.
