Three vulnerabilities have been reported in Symantec Ghost Solution Suite, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerabilities are caused due to errors when processing UDP packets and can be exploited to crash the client or server processes via specially crafted UDP packets sent to either the client or the server (default ports 1346/TCP and 1347/TCP).
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 2.0.0 and prior.
Solution: Updates are available via LiveUpdate or apply appropriate patch. Please see the vendor's advisory for details.
