Description:
Sun has acknowledged a vulnerability in Mozilla 1.7 for Sun Solaris, which can potentially be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Note: Only one of ten vulnerabilities listed in CVE-2006-6498 is applicable to Sun Mozilla 1.7.

The vulnerability is reported in Mozilla 1.7 for Sun Solaris 8, 9, and 10 for both the x86 and SPARC platforms. Mozilla 1.4 may also be affected.
