Description: A weakness has been reported in Mbedthis AppWeb, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Mbedthis AppWeb responds to HTTP TRACE requests, which can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when combined with certain browser vulnerabilities.
The weakness is reported in version 2.2.1. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 2.2.2 and set "TraceMethod" to "off" in appweb.conf.
