Description: A security issue has been reported in HP System Management Homepage (SMH), which may result in malicious people gaining access to the application.
The problem is that SMH handles Novell eDirectory members as part of the root group and are therefore given privileged access to SMH.
The security issue is reported in versions prior to 2.1.9 on Linux that belong to Novell's eDirectory implementation of directory services.
