Parvez Anwar has discovered two vulnerabilities in InterActual Player, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

1) A boundary error within the IAMCE (IAMCE.dll) ActiveX control when handling the "FailURL" property can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by assigning an overly long (greater than 256 bytes) string to the affected property.

2) A boundary error within the IAKey (IAKey.dll) ActiveX control when handling the "URLCode" property can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by assigning an overly long (around 900 bytes) string to the affected property.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.60.12.0717. Other versions may also be affected.
