Description:
clarity_ has reported a vulnerability in BitchX, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within hooks.c, which allows an attacker to inject data structures. This can be exploited to execute certain commands.

Successful exploitation requires that a user is tricked into connecting to a malicious server.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1.
