Description

Some vulnerabilities have been reported in elkagroup Image Gallery, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks, and by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "pid" parameter in property.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "cid" parameter in view.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of vulnerabilities #1 and #2 allows e.g. retrieving usernames and password hashes.

3) The upload.php script allows the upload of files with arbitrary extensions to a folder inside the webroot. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by uploading a PHP file.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
