Description:
katatafish has discovered some vulnerabilities in QuickTalk forum, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.

Input passed to the "lang" parameter in qtf_checkname.php, qtf_j_birth.php, and qtf_j_exists.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.

The vulnerabilities in qtf_checkname.php and qtf_j_birth.php are fixed in version 1.5.

Provided and/or discovered by:
katatafish
