Description:
Fernando Munoz has reported a vulnerability in Claroline, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed via the URL to index.php and potentially other files is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected file.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.8.4.

Solution:
Update to version 1.8.4.
