Description:
rgod has discovered some vulnerabilities in AMX VNC ActiveX Control, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to boundary errors within the Amx.AmxVncCtrl.1 (AmxVnc.dll) ActiveX control when handling certain properties (e.g. "Host", "LogFile", and "Password" properties). These can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by assigning an overly long string to the affected property.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0.13.0. Other versions may also be affected.
