Description: Steve Kemp has reported a security issue in FireFlier, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to delete arbitrary files.
The "getChains()" function in server/rules.cpp deletes the file "/tmp/fireflier.rules" in an insecure manner, which can be exploited via symlink attacks to delete arbitrary files.
The security issue is reported in version 1.1.6. Other versions may also be affected.
