Description

Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in dirLIST, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information and to bypass certain security restrictions.

1) Input passed to the "folder" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to get a directory listing of the directory above the dirLIST installation.

2) A vulnerability is caused due to improper verification in index.php. This can be exploited to enter directories that the product is configured to hide, by passing values to the "folder" parameter.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.1. Prior versions may also be affected.
