Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Novell Client, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within NWSPOOL.DLL when processing arguments passed to certain RPC requests. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted RPC request with overly long arguments.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in Novell Client v4.91 SP4 for Windows 2000/XP/2003.
