| CVE reference: | CVE-2007-4121
|
|
Description: Aria-Security Team have reported some vulnerabilities in Auction Script and Shopping Cart Script, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "EmailAdd" and "Pass" parameters in admin.aspx is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation allows e.g. logging in as administrator without having valid administrator credentials.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: Aria-Security Team
Changelog: 2007-08-09: Added CVE reference.
