Beskrivelse:
Der er rapporteret nogle sårbarheder i Cisco IOS, som kan udnyttes af ondsindede personer til at udføre et DoS (Denial of Service) og potentielt kompromittere et sårbart system.

1) Fejl under håndteringen af SIP-pakker kan udnytes til at crashe enheden eller muliggøre eksekvering af vilkårlig kode via en specielt udformet SIP-pakke.

2) Fejl under håndteringen af MGCP-pakker kan udnyttes til at crashe enheden eller få den til at stoppe med at svare via specielt udformede MGCP-pakker.

3) Fejl under håndteringen af H.323-pakker kan udnyttes til at crashe enheden via specielt udformede MGCP-pakker.

4) Fejl under håndteringen af RTP-pakker kan udnyttes til at crashe enheden via en specielt udformede RTP-pakker.

5) En fejl Facsimile-modtagelsen kan udnyttes til at crashe enheden via lange pakker.
