Beskrivelse:
Der er rapporteret en sårbarhed i Sun JRE, som kan udnyttes af ondsindede personer til at kompromittere en brugers system.

Sårbarheden skyldes en uspecificeret fejl under font-håndteringen i Java-applets. Dette kan udnyttes af "untrusted" applets til at læse og skrive lokale filer eller eksekvere vilkårlige lokale applikationer.

Sårbarheden er rapporteret i følgende versioner:
* JDK and JRE 5.0 Update 9 og tidligere
* SDK and JRE 1.4.2_14 og tidligere

SDK og JRE 1.3.1_xx er ikke berørte.
