Beskrivelse:
wushi har rapporteret en sårbarhed i MSN Messenger, som kan udnyttes af ondsindede personer til at kompromittere en brugers system.

Sårbarheden skyldes en fejl under håndteringen af video-samtaler og kan udnyttes til at forårsage et heap-baseret buffer overflow via specielt udformede data sendt til brugeren.

Succesfuld udnyttelse kan muliggøre eksekvering af vilkårlig kode, men forudsætter, at brugeren accepterer en "Web Cam" invitation.
