Description: Joxean Koret has discovered a vulnerability in SIDVault, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the LDAP login mechanism. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted LDAP packet.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in SIDVault 2.0d for Linux and reported in versions prior to 2.0f.
Solution: Update to version 2.0f.
