Description: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Micro CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks or to bypass certain security restrictions.
1) Input passed to the "id" parameter in cms/revert-content.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed to the "administrators_username" and "administrators_pass" parameters in microcms-admin-login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
3) The problem is that the microcms-admin-home.php script does not check credentials when performing administrative tasks. This can be exploited to add, edit, or delete administrator accounts via specially crafted POST requests.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 3.5. Other versions may also be affected.
