| CVE reference: | CVE-2007-4602
|
|
Description: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered some vulnerabilities in Micro CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "id" parameter in cms/revert-content.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed to the "administrators_username" and "administrators_pass" parameters in microcms-admin-login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 3.5. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: 1) R00T[ATI]
