Description:
Breaker_unit & Don have reported a vulnerability in Our Space, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The newswire/uploadmedia.cgi script fails to validate the extension of an uploaded file. This can be exploited to upload files with arbitrary extensions (e.g. ".php") and execute arbitrary PHP code on the server.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Implement whitelisting functionality that only lets people upload files with certain extensions.
