Description: MWR InfoSecurity has reported a vulnerability in Merak Mail Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed via the email body is not properly sanitised before being displayed. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when a specially crafted email is opened.
The vulnerability is reported in Merak Mail Server version 8.9.1 (Windows) and 8.9.2 (Linux). Other versions may also be affected.
