Description: Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in CA BrightStor Hierarchical Storage Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), or compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Boundary errors in multiple CsAgent service commands can be exploited to cause stack-based buffer overflows.
2) Integer overflow errors in multiple CsAgent service commands can be exploited to cause heap-based buffer overflows.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities allow execution of arbitrary code.
3) Input passed to multiple CsAgent service commands is not properly verified before being used in an SQL statement. These can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
