CVE-2007-6080
CVE-2007-6266
CVE-2007-6274
CVE-2007-6275
CVE-2007-6365

Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in bcoos, which can be exploited by malicious users or malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks, and by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.

1) Input passed to the "gid" parameter in modules/arcade/index.php (when "act" is set to "play_game" or "show_stats") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that the Arcade module is installed and that the attacker has access to the Arcade module (may or may not require valid user credentials).

2) Input passed to the "bid" parameter in modules/banners/click.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that the Banners module is installed and that the attacker has access to the Banners module (may require valid user credentials).

3) Input passed to the "xoopsOption[pagetype]" parameter in modules/news/index.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources via directory traversal attacks.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability with arbitrary file extensions requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

4) Input passed to the "day", "month", and "year" parameters in modules/ecal/display.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities requires that the Event Calendar module is installed and that the target user has access to the Event Calendar module (may require valid user credentials).

5) Input passed to the "lid" parameter in modules/mylinks/ratelink.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that the Web Links module is installed and that the attacker has access to the Web Links module (may or may not require valid user credentials).

6) Input passed to the "lid" parameter in modules/adresses/ratefile.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that the Addresses module is installed and that the attacker has access to the Addresses module (may or may not require valid user credentials).

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0.10. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 1.0.12, which fixes vulnerabilities #1-4.
