Beskrivelse:
Der er rapporteret nogle sårbarheder i Simple PHP Blog, som kan udnyttes af ondsindede personer til at udføre cross-site scriptingangreb og af ondsindede brugere til at kompromittere et sårbart system.

1) Input suppleret til parameteren "user_colors[bg_color]" i themes\<theme name>\user_style.php filtreres ikke korrekt, før det returneres til brugere. Dette kan udnyttes til at eksekvere vilkårlig HTML og scriptkode i en brugers browser-session associeret med et sårbart site.

Succesfuld udnyttelse forudsætter, at "register_globals" er aktiveret.

2) Scriptet "upload_img_cgi.php" begrænser ikke visse typer af oploadede filer korrekt. Dette kan f.eks. udnyttes til at eksekvere vilkårlig PHP-kode ved at oploade et specielt udformet PHP-script, der indeholder et GIF magic number.
