Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Public Media Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information or to compromise a vulnerable system and conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "indir" parameter in NewsCMS/news/newstopic_inc.php and to the "forms_dir" parameter in comcal/calmenu.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

2) Input passed via the "usr" parameter to NewsCMS/newsdb/index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation allows bypassing the authentication mechanism.

3) Input passed via the "id" parameter to NewsCMS/newsdb/fullstory.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may also be affected.
