Description:
A security issue has been reported in ldapscripts, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose sensitive information.

The security issue is caused due to certain scripts of ldapscripts passing sensitive information (e.g. user credentials) to other applications as command line parameter, which can be exploited to disclose the information by e.g. using the "ps" command.

The security issue is reported in version 1.4 and 1.7. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 1.7.1.
