Description:
Sun has acknowledged a vulnerability in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within the Virtual File System (VFS), which can be exploited to cause a DoS by exhausting all available kernel memory.

The vulnerability is reported in Sun Solaris 10 for both the x86 and SPARC platforms.
