Description:
Sun has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Successful exploitation requires that the X Font Server (xfs) is running.

The vulnerabilities are reported in Sun Solaris 8, 9, and 10 for both the x86 and SPARC platform.

Solution:
Apply patches. Restrict access to trusted users only.
