Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in CA Host-Based Intrusion Prevention System (CA HIPS), which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed in certain requests to the server is not properly sanitised before being logged. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when viewing logs.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 8.0.0.93.
