Description:
Venustech AD-LAB has reported a vulnerability in 3proxy, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a double-free error within "ftpprchild()" in the FTP proxy module (ftppr) when handling "OPEN" FTP proxy commands. This can be exploited to cause the 3proxy service to crash via sending more than one "OPEN" command to the service.

The vulnerability reportedly affects versions 0.5 to 0.5.3i.
