Description:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in activePDF DocConverter, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to various errors within certain third-party file viewers and can be exploited to cause buffer overflows when a specially crafted file is converted into PDF.

The vulnerabilities are related to:
SA27304
SA16100

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 3.8.2.5. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 3.8.4.
