Beschreibung:
Steve Kemp hat ein Sicherheitsproblem in Xen gemeldet, welches böswillige lokale Benutzer ausnutzen können, um beliebige Dateien zu kürzen.

Das Sicherheitsproblem wird verursacht, da das Programm "xenbaked" die Datei "/tmp/xenq-shm" in auf eine unsichere Weise kürzt, was durch Symlink-Attacken ausgenutzt werden kann, um beliebige Dateien zu kürzen.

Das Sicherheitsproblem ist in Version 3.1 gemeldet. Andere Versionen können ebenfalls betroffen sein.

Lösung:
Beschränken Sie den Zugriff auf vertrauenswürdige Benutzer.
