Description:
Joey Hess has reported a security issue in vobcopy, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with escalated privileges.

The security issue is caused due to vobcopy appending to "/tmp/vobcopy.bla" when running in quiet mode. This can be exploited via symlink attacks to append certain data to arbitrary files.

Solution:
Do not run vobcopy in quiet mode. Restrict access to trusted people only.
