Hector Manuel Escalona Mendoza has discovered some vulnerabilities in ManageEngine OpManager, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "requestid", "fileid", "woMode", and "woID" parameters in jsp/Login.do is not properly sanitised before being used. These can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in ManageEngine OpManager MSP Edition, and ManageEngine OpManager versions 7.0 and 8 build 8051 ("requestid" and "fileid"). Other versions may also be affected.

Solution
Update to ManageEngine OpManager version 8 build 8721.
