Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in multiple Avaya Messaging Products, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the processing of requests sent to the administrative web interface and can potentially be exploited to render a system unusable.

The vulnerability is reported in the following products:
* Avaya Messaging Storage Server 3.1 without Service Pack 1(SP1)
* Avaya Message Networking 3.1 without patch J7042rf+c
