Description:
Red Hat has issued an update for rhpki-util, rhpki-common, and rhpki-ca. This fixes a security issue, which can result in bypassing certain security restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to an error in the processing of new revocations while a Certificate Revocation List (CRL) is being generated. This can cause revoked certificates at the upper end of the serial number range to not appear on the CRL for an unspecified period of time and can result in the CRL being bypassed.

NOTE: Reportedly, it is not possible to influence which revoked certificate entries are missing or the time period.
