Avaya has acknowledged a vulnerability in various Avaya products, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

* Avaya Communication Manager CM 3.0
* Avaya Intuity AUDIX LX (all versions)
* Avaya Message Store Server (all versions)
* Avaya Message Networking (all versions)
* Avaya CCS/SES (3.1 and earlier)
* Avaya AES (3.1.x)
Solution:
Avaya Communication Manager:
Update to CM 3.1.4 or later.
Avaya CCS/SES:
Update to SES 3.1.1 or later.
Avaya AES:
Update to AES 3.1.4 or later.
Avaya Intuity AUDIX LX, Avaya Message Store Server, Avaya Message Networking:
The vendor recommends that local and network access to the affected systems be restricted until an update is available.
