Description:
A security issue has been reported in nss_ldap, which can be exploited by malicious people to manipulate certain data.

The security issue is caused due to the library improperly handling calls made from applications, which are linked against the pthreads library and fork after the call to an nss_ldap function. This can be exploited to return wrong data to a process via the shared LDAP connection.

The security issue is reported in versions prior to 259.
