Description:
Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in LIVE555 Media Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error within "parseRTSPRequestString()" and can be exploited to crash the server via a small RTSP query.

The vulnerability is reported in version 2007.11.01. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 2007.11.18.
