Description:
NoGe has discovered some vulnerabilities in TalkBack, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information or to compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "config[comments_form_tpl]" parameter in comments-display-tpl.php and the "language_file" parameter in comments-display-tpl.php and addons/separate-comments-mod/my-comments-display-tpl.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.2.7. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 2.2.8 downloaded after 2008-01-04.

Disable "register_globals".
