Description:
Doz has reported some vulnerabilities in MySpace Scripts Poll Creator, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed to the "title", "intro", "question", and to all "answer" parameters in index.php (when "action" is set to "create_new") is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which is then executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Provided and/or discovered by:
Doz

Changelog:
2007-12-03: Added CVE reference.
