|
|
Description: Aria-Security.Net has reported some vulnerabilities in VU Case Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "password" and "username" parameters in default.asp are not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to modify SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Note: This can easily be exploited to bypass the login mechanism.
Solution: Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
Provided and/or discovered by: Aria-Security.Net
Changelog: 2007-12-03: Added CVE reference.
