Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in DeluxeBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks or bypass certain security restrictions.

1) A vulnerability is caused due to improper authentication verification in cp.php. This can be exploited to change e-mail addresses for arbitrary users by setting the "membercookie" parameter to their username, and furthermore to change the password for the administrator account.

The vulnerability is confirmed in versions 1.09 and 1.1. Other versions may also be affected.

2) Input passed to various parameters in various files (e.g. "tablewidth" in templates/deluxe/admincp/attachments_footer.php or "lang_listofmatches" in templates/default/admincp/attachments_header.php) is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Successful exploitation may require that "register_globals" is enabled.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.1. Other versions may also be affected.
