Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in JAF CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Input passed to the "show" parameter in index.php and "print" in print.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed via the "website" parameter to module/forum/forum.php and module/forum/main.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or remote resources.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
3) Input passed via the URL is not properly verified before being used in dynamic variable evaluation and in a call to "extract()" in module/log/vislog.php. This can be exploited to overwrite arbitrary variables and e.g. create arbitrary files with arbitrary content within the webroot.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 4.0 RC2. Other versions may also be affected.
