KiNgOfThEwOrLd has discovered a vulnerability in the NSN Script Depository module for PHP-Nuke, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "show_file" parameter in modules.php (when "name" is set to "Script_Depository" and "op" to "show_file") is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to display arbitrary files by passing absolute paths.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0.3 (750_103pl1). Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
