Description:
James has reported a security issue in GNUMP3d, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to the improper enforcing of password-based authentication and can be exploited to gain access to the streaming server without a valid username and password.

The security issue is reported in versions prior to 3.0.
